Semi Homemade Focaccia Bread
As Oprah has said βI love breadβ. Well O, I feel the exact same way. Now I love a good roll at Thanksgiving, but sometimes I like to try and be a little fancy.
This recipe makes me feel fancy without much work. You start with a frozen loaf of dough and add some things you likely have on hand. I used fresh herbs from my moms garden!
This is also a delicious recipe to pair on spaghetti night, just saying.
Semi Homemade Focaccia

1 loaf of ready dough, thawed and time given to rise
1 tbsp each of fresh basil, oregano, rosemary
3-4 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, grated
salt, pepper, red pepper flakes to taste
directions
spray a jelly roll pan with oil
using your hands roll out dough to fit the pan
in a mortar & pestle, combine herbs, garlic & 2 tbsp olive oil to form a paste. You could also use a blender or food processor.
spread paste over bread and add more olive oil
using your fingers tips, make dimples in the dough
season with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes
let sit for an hour, then bake 375F for 20-25 minutes
There you go! I hope that you have enjoyed this semi homemade recipe. I have a video tutorial on my Instagram under the Thanksgiving Highlight.
