Chocolate Chip Cookies
Looking for a soft, sweet, and easy homemade chocolate chip cookie recipe?! You’ve come to the right place!
This recipe is a crowd favorite! I made a batch this week for a dinner at my grandparents and they were gone in seconds!
I know baking can be intimidating for some. Below I have listed a few tips & tricks to make this recipe easy for all!
Tips & Tricks
Butter- always better at room temp! Take it out and place it on your counter for a few hours before baking. If you are in a pinch- you can microwave it for about 10 seconds.
Egg- also always better at room temp! You can place it in a bowl of luke-warm water to speed up the process. If you don’t have time no biggie- cold eggs are fine!
Perfect Size- I bought this cookie scoop at Wal-Mart a while back and use it ALL THE TIME! It’s also great for savory items too- like homemade meatballs!
Freezing- I am 100% guilty of baking 2 cookies after dinner for a little late night sweet treat. I scoop the leftover dough it into balls and place on a sheet pan in the freezer for at least 2 hours. Once your dough is no longer sticky remove from the sheet pan and place in a freezer safe bag.
