Hi! OMG I know I keep saying this, but what a different time in the world. Last Friday, Petey and I hoped on not once but twice to do an IG LIVE. You guys were so sweet & actually loved it! Well the cookies we made were too good not to share.
They were kind of a clean out your pantry, use what you have on hand, everything but the kitchen sink type of cookie. With that being said, if you don’t have an ingredient listed below- BE CREATIVE!
If you do make them or something similar, tag me on Instagram :)
Kitchen Sink Cookies
Makes 28-30 cookies
ingredients
1 ½ cup flour
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
10 tbsp softened butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
1.5 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup each of Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips, Peanut Butter Chips, Confetti Chips
directions
Preheat oven to 375F
In a bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt- set aside
With a hand mixer beat together sugar & butter until light and fluffy
Add in the egg & vanilla extract and beat until incorporated
Add in flour mixture and beat until combined
Stir in your mixture of chocolate, peanut butter, and confetti chips (or whatever you are using!)
Using a cookie scooper form your cookies and place on a lined baking sheet (linked my fav one)
Bake for 10 - 12 minutes
A few notes:
You can chill your dough covered for 30 minutes up to 3 days! You can also take your cookie dough balls and store them in a freezer safe bag in the freezer for longer keeping!
I have only found Confetti Chips at Wal Mart, white chocolate chips would be a good substitute.
I am sending prayers and good vibes to everyone during this crazy time in the world. Looking for more Quarantine Ideas, check out this post.
